Sport Dog Training Tracker ("the App") is operated by Taylor Kennels LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication).
You may optionally upload a profile photo. This is stored securely and only visible to you.
Information you enter about your dogs including name, breed, date of birth, sex, titles, and profile photos.
Records you create including dates, locations, session type, training equipment, behaviors worked, performance ratings, notes, photos, and video links you choose to attach.
Goals and sub-goals you create, including titles, descriptions, target dates, and completion status.
If you use the location picker when logging a session, the App accesses your device's GPS to place a map pin. Location is only used in that moment to suggest a session address — we do not track your location in the background.
When you use the AI Coach feature, your messages and the AI's responses are stored so you can review past conversations. To generate responses, your training data and messages are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, PBC (see Third-Party Services below). If you set up training email reports, we store the email addresses and schedule preferences you provide.
If you enable training reminders, we store the reminder preferences you set and your device's push notification token (provided by Firebase Cloud Messaging and the Apple Push Notification service) so we can deliver reminders to your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
If you subscribe to K9 Pro in the iOS app, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store, and our subscription provider RevenueCat notifies us of your subscription status. If you subscribe on the web, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. In either case, we never see or store your card number or payment details. We receive and store only: your subscription plan and status (active/past-due/canceled), which platform you subscribed through, the date your current billing period ends, and whether your subscription is set to cancel at period end. This information is stored on your user record so we know what features to enable for you.
We use your information solely to provide the App's features:
We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with any third party except as described below.
We use Firebase for authentication, data storage, file storage, and cloud functions. Your data is stored on Google's servers. See Google's Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
When you use the AI Coach feature, your training data and chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at https://www.anthropic.com/privacy.
We use SendGrid (an email delivery service operated by Twilio Inc.) to send application emails such as training summaries and account and trial notifications. SendGrid processes recipient email addresses and email content, which may include training session data you choose to include. SendGrid's privacy policy is available at https://www.twilio.com/en-us/legal/privacy.
Some emails may be delivered via Google's Gmail service as a fallback, and Gmail is used for reply routing. Email content includes session data you have chosen to include.
If you choose to subscribe to K9 Pro, Apple processes your payment through the App Store. Your payment information is handled entirely by Apple under your Apple ID — we never see or handle it. Apple's privacy policy is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status for App Store purchases. RevenueCat receives your purchase receipt from Apple and an anonymized user identifier so it can tell us whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
If you subscribe to K9 Pro on the web, Stripe processes your payment. Stripe receives the billing details you enter at checkout (such as your card number and email address) — we never see or store them. Stripe's privacy policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
All data is stored in Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account — no other user can view your information.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App does not include Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not use your data to build advertising profiles.
The web app uses only essential browser storage (such as cookies or local storage) needed to keep you signed in and to operate core features — for example, Firebase Authentication stores a session token in your browser so you do not have to log in on every visit. This storage is strictly necessary for the App to function and is not used for tracking or advertising.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen, which immediately and permanently deletes your account and all associated data — including your dogs, training sessions, goals, AI conversations, and photos. You may also request deletion by emailing sportdogtrainingtracker@taylorkennels.com; we will process email deletion requests within 30 days.
You can export your training sessions to a spreadsheet at any time from within the App. To request a copy of the other personal data associated with your account, email us at sportdogtrainingtracker@taylorkennels.com and we will provide it within 30 days.
The App is not directed at and may not be used by children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Users between 13 and 17 may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian (see our Terms of Service). If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The categories of personal information we collect, our purposes for using it, and the parties with whom we share it are described in the "Information We Collect," "How We Use Your Information," and "Third-Party Services" sections above.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at sportdogtrainingtracker@taylorkennels.com. We will verify your request using the email address associated with your account and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes to how we collect, use, or share your information, we will provide active notice — such as an email to the address associated with your account or a notice within the App — before the changes take effect. For minor updates, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
